CiDi and Schaeffler Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

CiDi Inc. and Schaeffler have signed a strategic agreement to advance the development of intelligent and electric heavy-duty vehicles. The two companies will collaborate on E/E architectures, distributed drive control, lifecycle management, and system integration and testing for pure-electric intelligent mining trucks and logistics vehicles.

Schaeffler brings 75 years of engineering expertise in electric drive systems, mechatronics, chassis applications, and vehicle system integration, providing efficient and reliable distributed electric drive solutions.


CiDi specializes in intelligent driving technologies, with core products including autonomous mining trucks, intelligent logistics trucks, V2X+ solutions, and advanced perception systems for industrial scenarios.


The partnership builds on previous technical exchanges between the two companies. In 2019, the two sides conducted discussions in areas such as intelligent chassis systems, laying a foundation for deeper cooperation in electric and intelligent heavy-duty vehicle technologies.

Under the agreement, the two companies will establish a reciprocal partnership as strategic suppliers and preferred customers in the China market. Through joint R&D, co-developed solutions, resource sharing, and industrial deployment, CiDi and Schaeffler will accelerate the transformation of technical achievements into scalable products and strengthen product competitiveness and market responsiveness.
