On April 16, a delegation comprising leaders from the Anhui Provincial Automotive Industry Office, Wuhu Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and CHERY Commercial Vehicles visited CiDi.

The two parties held in-depth discussions on promoting the application of an innovative "technology + insurance" model for commercial vehicles and reached key agreements on future collaboration.

The visiting officials emphasized that the commercial vehicle industry currently faces challenges such as high safety risks, difficulties in obtaining insurance, and rising premiums. They stressed the urgent need for technological innovation to improve safety management.

In response, Dr. Rongdong Hu , CiDi Vice President, presented the company’s self-developed "technology + insurance" solution for commercial vehicles. He highlighted its real-world effectiveness in mitigating risks, reducing losses, and lowering insurance claims, which earned strong approval from the delegation.

The officials unanimously agreed that CiDi’s solution offers a practical approach to addressing industry challenges and holds significant potential for broader adoption. Dr. Hu noted that CiDi is currently in talks with multiple commercial vehicle enterprises in Anhui to jointly drive innovation. This exchange laid a solid foundation for deeper multi-party collaboration.

Following the meeting, the delegation experienced CiDi’s autonomous driving and V2X technologies at the company’s test site, witnessing firsthand how these innovations enhance transportation safety and efficiency.
