Release date: 2026-07-17

CiDi has published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report. This company’s first ESG report covers its environmental performance, product and data security, employees, corporate governance, and community engagement.

Reducing Emissions

In 2025, CiDi reported 821.81 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2), with an emissions intensity of 0.93 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent per RMB million of revenue. The company also recorded emissions of 83.71 kilograms of nitrogen oxides (NOx), 0.46 kilograms of sulfur oxides (SOx), and 3.47 kilograms of particulate matter (PM).

These figures reflect CiDi's efforts to manage the environmental impact of its operations while expanding its business. Over the past two years, the company has used an intelligent energy management system to track consumption and identify opportunities for improvement. Electricity use fell by 5% compared with 2023, meeting CiDi’s internal energy-efficiency target.

Beyond its own operations, CiDi helps customers lower emissions through its products. Replacing diesel-powered mining trucks with pure-electric autonomous trucks lowers fuel use and carbon emissions while supporting more productive mining operations.

Quality and Data Security

CiDi embeds quality, functional safety, and cybersecurity requirements into product development and daily operations. The company follows ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management standards, holds ISO 26262 functional safety and ISO/SAE 21434 automotive cybersecurity certifications, and has achieved Automotive SPICE® Capability Level 2. CiDi also operates a layered information security framework aligned with China’s Multi-Level Protection Scheme 2.0 and other recognized standards, helping protect customer data, personal information, and core business systems.

CiDi supported employee wellbeing and an inclusive workplace through sports, cultural activities, and professional development programs.

Community Engagement and International Deployment

CiDi employees recorded 930 participations in volunteer activities, contributing a total of 150 hours to community and public-interest programs.

At the corporate level, CiDi hosted 740 students from primary schools through universities, offering first-hand exposure to intelligent driving technologies. The company also deployed intelligent driving and V2X solutions in Belt and Road markets. For example, at the China–Vietnam Puzhai–Tan Thanh Smart Port, CiDi’s autonomous container truck solution supports customs clearance in minutes and round-the-clock operations, improving the efficiency of cross-border logistics.
